Our Services
New Heights Bookkeeping creates specialized service packages for your company's specific needs. We utilize Quickbooks Online because of its reliability and accuracy. Your company's goals are at the forefront of everything we do.
Set-Up
Our bookkeepers are certified Quickbooks Online ProAdvisors. If you are not a current QBO user, we will help you choose what subscription level is best for your company, and get you started. This includes transferring/entering company info, customizing the chart of accounts, and connecting bank, loan, and credit card accounts.
Catch-Up
This service is a one-time process, and is usually combined with recurring monthly bookkeeping. Our certified bookkeepers create/enter your backlog of invoices, bills, receipts, and payments in order to bring your business to a current and accurate state. We then reconcile all accounts so you have a clear picture of your company's financial health.
Clean-Up
Clean-up can be done as a stand alone service, or combined with our monthly bookkeeping service. Our experts dive into your books and fix any problems. We begin by searching for data entry errors and/or duplicate transactions. Then, we will create adjusting journal entries where necessary. Once your transactions are in order, we reconcile all of the accounts to ensure that your company's balances are accurate and current.
Accounts
Recievable
Management of accounts receivable is only available within your monthly bookkeeping package, and is usually combined with reconciliation. Our professionals will send itemized invoices to your customers on your behalf. We will also check for any past due amounts, and send out reminders. Customer payments can be accepted online directly into your business account through QBO, if you choose to do so.
Accounts
Payable
Accounts payable is only available within a monthly service package. Our certified bookkeepers will accurately enter all of your receipts and bills into the QBO system. We will then send payments (electronically or by physical check) to your vendors on your behalf. We will also make sure that your business credit cards and/or loans are up to date each month.
Reconcile
Accounts
Account reconciliation is part of monthly bookkeeping services. In this extremely important step, we compare and match transactions within the QBO system to your company checking, credit card, and/or loan accounts. If discrepancies occur, we alert you immediately so that we may find and fix the problem quickly. After a monthly reconciliation is finished, you have a complete and accurate picture of your business standing.
Reports
Once our bookkeepers complete all account reconciliations, reports are compiled and sent to you. Standard reports include balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, A/R aging, A/P aging, and/or retained earnings. We can also provide you with more specific reports based on sales per employee or profit per job. These statements can be customized to your needs. With this information in hand, you can make informed financial decisions for your business.
Payroll
Management
Our bookkeepers are certified on Quickbooks Payroll. Using this specialized software, we take care of all of your payroll needs including calculating and sending weekly pay, monitoring and updating federal and state taxes, deducting and paying those taxes, and managing garnishments and paid time off. Your employees will have access to W-2s, PTO balances, and withholdings through a secure portal. Once you have approved time sheets, we do our work, then send you the payroll report.
Inventory
Management
Using Quickbooks Online, we will manage your inventory. This service includes entering products and/or services into the system as well as creating bundles of commonly combined materials. We will then keep track of items on hand, and, with your approval, reorder when needed. Each month you will receive an inventory report that allows to to see how well each of your products and/or services are selling.
Consultation
We provide consultations with experts in their field. They can conduct an in depth financial analysis and/or advise you on budgeting. They can also work with you to answer specific questions, or solve certain problems regarding your company's financial health and goals.
